Former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech's son Damian has signed his first professional deal with Fulham, joining his sister at Craven Cottage.

Damian Cech, the son of former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr, has penned professional terms with Fulham, following in his father's footsteps. Petr is one of the Premier League's greatest ever goalkeepers, making almost 450 appearances in England's top flight and winning a whole range of trophies during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Born in 2009, Damian is also a goalkeeper and spent time in Chelsea's youth academy. The teenager made his debut for Czechias Under-18s side last year aged just 15 and now joins his sister Adela Cechova at Craven Cottage. She recently played for her national team's Under-17s for the first time, coming off the bench during a 3-0 defeat to Mexico in the MIMA Cup.

Petr Cech lifted the Premier League trophy four times while at Chelsea but left for local rivals Arsenal when Thibaut Courtois became the first choice shot-stopper for the Blues. He would win an FA Cup and two Community Shields with the Gunners before retiring at the end of the 2018-19 season. He later took up a technical director position with Chelsea but left after Roman Abramovich sold the club to Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

Damian will be hoping to rise through the ranks at Fulham, who enjoyed a largely prosperous 2024-25 season as they finished 11th in the Premier League.
