On Thursday, Blackburn published a statement leaving open the possibility that the match could still be selected for broadcast. It read: "The game has not been selected for live broadcast by ITV or the BBC, however the club is awaiting more information from The FA regarding further broadcast details before the exact date and time of our fixture is confirmed."
