According to , talks between Davies and Bayern have reached an advanced stage after the 24-year-old made some key concessions to the club in terms of salary expectations. The Canada international is contracted until July 2025 and some of Europe's biggest clubs began circling after Bayern refused to match his demands in the summer. However, reports suggest the two sides have reached an agreement and Davies is ready to commit to his future at the Allianz Arena.

Many clubs have reportedly been interested in Davies, with Madrid initially seen as the favourites to land his signature for some time, while Barcelona and United entered the picture recently as they look to strengthen at full-back.
