Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney has ruled out the prospect of adding an NFL franchise to his ever-growing portfolio of sporting investments.

Alongside fellow Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds, McElhenney is approaching four years of loyal service at SToK Racecourse. Quite the journey has been enjoyed there, with back-to-back promotions allowing the Red Dragons to start forming dreams of one day reaching the Premier League.

McElhenney is also part of the Tyler-Portis group – alongside fellow household names such as Eva Longoria, Kate Upton and Mesut Ozil – that has acquired stakes in Mexican side Necaxa and Colombian outfit La Equidad.
