Juventus star Federico Chiesa is reportedly set to sign for Liverpool on a four-year deal in a bargain transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement between Juventus and Liverpool has been reached, the 26-year-old will join for just £11 million ($14.4m) with add-ons, and he will fly to Merseyside later on Wednesday to complete the transfer.

Chiesa was told by new Juventus boss Thiago Motta that he was not part of his plans going forward earlier this month and since then he has been looking for a new club. Despite being linked with Barcelona, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United, the Italian international is now primed to head to Arne Slot's Reds in a sensational late transfer move.

The former Fiorentina ace has scored 32 goals and bagged 23 assists in 131 games for Juventus since making his club debut in 2020. Chiesa has been a regular for Italy over the years and helped his country win Euro 2020 three years ago.
